Full day Forest school FUN
Children aged 5-9yrs are welcome to join us for a full day of forest based learning. Mornings will feature a weekly nature theme from the Exploring Nature with Children curriculum. Lunch will be foraged, cooked on the fire and enjoyed together as a pause in the middle of the day. Afternoons will feature Forest school freedom and individual project working opportunities as well as tool base skills work.

At all times we aim to create a safe space where children can feel valued, confident in expressing themselves and guiding their own learning and project choices. Led by experienced forest school leaders Anne and Becky. Initial release will be of 8 spaces at £35 for a full day, payable in monthly instalments.
​
Initially the full day forest school will run until end of December 2023 at which point it will be reviewed and hopefully become a year long, term time only supplementary education offering.

Oakwood at Denbury near Newton Abbot is our new venue. Accessible by bus to Denbury and 15 mins country lane walk or by car. Due to limited on site parking car sharing is highly encouraged.

Pop in and Play Outdoors group
Suitable for children who toddle up to 8 years.
Enjoy our Outdoor play space at Shekinah Grow project. On cold days, we'll enjoy a campfire on warm days a chill in the hammocks and a play in the nature Dens.
Weekly craft activities, vegan snacks and storytelling to finish.

Adult only Forest school
These sessions take place on Saturdays and are led by 2 qualified forest school leaders who will encourage the group to take part in campfire cooking for a tasty vegan lunch, create nature crafts and enjoy sharing about our current life's journey around the safety of the fire. This group is limited to 8 participants each time. You will get to take home your Nature crafts with you at the end of the session.

Saturday Family Outdoor Explorers
Come and play outdoors, enjoy shared lunch, seasonal craft projects and different learning themes each month. Session suitable for children up to 8 years.

These family friendly outdoor sessions aim to support families with children with additional support needs (of all ages up to 11 years) to access nature, learn and play together. We welcome the whole family, including siblings, to attend as we explore nature, hammock swinging, slackline balancing, crafts, den building, campfire cooking and fun games in all weathers.

Birthday Party Packages
These are 2 hour fun filled adventure sessions!
Celebrate your birthday at forest school with your friends, at either Primley Woods forest school site Paignton or Shekinah Grow project.

From den building to campfire cooking, to group games and seasonal crafts. From wizards and witches potion making to princesses and prince's at the castle there's a party package available tailored to suit.

Home Education Forest School Groups
Come make friends whilst in the woods. We enjoy child led exploration of nature around us. Alternating between campfire and games/ project weeks we will enjoy what nature has to offer. Qualified forest school leaders will enjoy providing learning opportunities through safe tool use, fire making skills, woodwork projects, games , campfire cooking and child initiated learning/ interests.

There are two groups to cater for ages 5-8 and 9+, held at Primley Woods forest school site Paignton.

Parents / carers are asked to stay with thier child until fully settled. Once the group leaders and parents feel happy, the child can be left (please make sure we have a parents contact form with your details before you leave).

All eequ.org listings state prices for 1 child attending. Siblings over 1 year old are HALF PRICE (under 6 months attend for free at outdoor sessions with a paying child)

Should you need to cancel this can be done up to 1 week in advance of the first session and a full refund (minus £5 admin fee) will be returned to you.

If cancelling less than 1 week in advance of the start of your session(s) then a refund (minus £5 admin fee) will only be given IF we can secure another booking to fill your spot

Cancellation requests may be treated on an individual basis and management reserve the right to offer refunds if deemed appropriate

Should Little Squirrels need to cancel due to adverse, dangerous weather/group leader illness or other unforseen circumstances then you will either be offered a FREE alternative session or given credit to use towards a future booking at management's discretion refunds may be offered
